Largest Hand Woven Carpet In The World

This enormous Persian carpet was made in the Nishabur city in Iran and was completed in 2007. Created in 9 parts for the Abu Dhabi Mosque, it consists of 2.2 billion knots and measures 5,630 sq. metres (60,600.81 sq.ft). The carpet was originally 6000 sq. metres but part of it had to be taken away in order to fit the mosque floor. Officially Incredible!!
