Longest Poem Ever Written

Traditionally authored by Veda Vyāsa, it is one of the two major Sanskrit Epics of ancient India. Known as the longest epic poem, it consists of over 100,000 shloka or over 200,000 individual verse lines, and long prose passages.In about 1.8 million words in total, the text narrates the struggle between two groups of cousins in the Kurukshetra War.
