Longest Running Lab Experiment

Pitch Drop Experiment, Australia, This long-term experiment measures the flow of 'pitch', a highly viscous liquid which appears solid. Started in 1927 by Professor Thomas Parnell of the University Of Queensland, the experiment has been running for 94 years. The scientists observing the experiment claim that there is still enough pitch in the funnel to last another 100 years. Officially Incredible!!

Most expensive

Rules of record
