Dr. Anjana Gopi completed her MBBS from KIMS, Bangalore and MD microbiology from BMC, Bangalore. Initially joined St John’s Medical college, Bangalore as a Lecturer and then moved to KIMS, Bangalore as an Assistant Professor. In KIMS, later on became Professor and Head of the department of Microbiology. She was involved in various projects and teaching UG and PG students. Takes immense interest in teaching her students and was very popular and liked by all. She Was a research guide for the PG students. Has been an undergraduate and postgraduate examiner in various universities and also a paper setter for university exams and super speciality entrance exams. Is an article reviewer in multiple national and international journals. Has several publications to her credit Was awarded the Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam national lifetime achievement award for teaching, research and publication by the National Institute for Socioeconomic Development, Bangalore on 6th May 2023. Presently is Professor of Microbiology at MVJ medical College, Hoskote, Bangalore.
