Dr. Ahmed Wasif Reza is a Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), East West University (EWU), Bangladesh. Moreover, he is currently the Additional Director, Institutional Quality Assurance Cell. Additionally, he is serving as Moderator of the EWU Robotics Club and Advisor of the IEEE Computer Society, Student Branch Chapter, EWU. He is also serving as a Member of the Evaluation Team, appointed by the BAETE, IEB, Bangladesh and an Expert Member of the Quality Assurance Committee, Appointed by the UGC of Bangladesh. He has been working in the fields of Wireless communications, Biomedical image processing, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Robotics and Internet of Things, Green Computing, Brain-Computer Interface, etc. He has authored and co-authored several SCI/Wo S /Scopus-indexed journals and conference papers (220+ papers). He received the “Excellence in Services Award” from the University of Malaya as well as the "Best Researcher Award", "Outstanding Championship Award", “Excellence Contribution Award”, “Best Paper Award”, etc. for outstanding contributions to research and publications. He is also a professional member of IEEE and IEEE Computer Society. He was also chair, reviewer, and committee member of several journals and conferences.
