Professor Shamsuddin Ahmed served at the Office of the President, IUM, to minimize a subsidy of SAR 41,266,000 over 22 months and restructured the meal plan at the University Canteen for 2022-2023. His experience at Exxon Mobil in Kazakhstan involved leading a quality accreditation steering committee in collaboration with KIMEP, Almaty, Kazakhstan. While at Savola Group of Companies in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, he contributed to corporate expansion diversification strategy. He designed budgeting systems for a company with an approximately $1 billion turnover. Additionally, he worked as a Project Coordinator in UAE on an interdisciplinary project to develop an eco-friendly theme park at United Arab Emirates University. Professor Shamsuddin Ahmed provided consultancy services at The University of the South Pacific, Fiji, focusing on program assessments and curriculum restructuring for AMBA accreditation preparation at the Graduate School of Business in 2011
