Prof. D S Hooda is an eminent mathematician and an able administrator at par excellence. He has worked as member of expert committees of UGC for evaluation of the proposals to organize seminars/conferences/ workshop and special assistance programs. He was Pro-Vice Chancellor of Kurukshetra University for a short period. He had also served JUET, Guna as Dean(R) and HOD, mathematics for 12 years after superannuation. At present Professor Hooda is Honorary Professor in mathematics at GJ University of Science & Technology, Hisar and Research Advisor to ABV Hindi University, Bhopal, MP (India). He is engaged in doing research in information theory, fuzzy sets and logic and their applications in engineering, management and physical sciences. He has attended in about 90 international and national conferences, seminars and symposia in various capacities
