Dr. Akash Shivling Mali is neuroscientist at receptor cell signaling group at Charls University. Through his work Akash has revealed the importance of GPCR signaling in neuronal pathophysiology. Apart from that he investigated the role of BTK inhibitor and FTO inhibitor on glioblastoma. He worked at the Friedrich Schiller hospital Jena, Germany where he focused in vivo and in vitro research techniques by analyzing MOP phosphorylation using a transgenic mouse model. He obtained his master from Institute of Virology and Immunology, University of Wuerzburg, Germany. He has mastered several advanced laboratory skills and techniques, including 2D/3D cell culture, Cloning, RNA sequencing, Confocal microscopy, flow cytometry and single cell genomics. During his career he guided many junior colleagues throughout each step of experimental design, sample preparation and data analysis.
