Dr. Baishali A Jana is currently a postdoctoral fellow in Penn state university. She is also part as a PDF in IITBombay working on various transdermal drug delivery projects. She was a Senior research fellow from Indian council of Medical Research (ICMR), New- Delhi completed her PhD from Dept. of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research- College of Pharmacy, Ooty on the project entitled “Microneedle – A closed loop transdermal drug delivery system for the management of Diabetes” with an aim where she developed two different types of closed loop systems to overcome the limitation of both injectable and oral drugs. She has also vast experience in the area of microbiology, pharmaceutical analysis and biotechnology. She has presented several papers at National and International forum and received 8 National and International awards for her research findings. Ten research papers are published by our group where she being the first author, three research papers uploaded in high impact factor journals and filed a patent.
