Dr. Puja Ohri is Associate Professor and Head in the Department of Zoology, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar with 15/20 years of teaching/research experience. She is working on the management of plant parasitic nematodes using eco-friendly approaches. She has been honored by “Young Scientist Award (2013)” by MSET-ICCB, Ranchi, “Young Faculty Award (2014)” by EET-CRS Academic Brilliance Awards, Noida, “Young Scientist Award (2014)” by SERS, Meerut, “Young Scientist Associate Award (2018)” by SPPS, ICAR-NCIPM, New Delhi, “Best Women Associate Professor Award in Zoology (2021)” by PEARL Foundation. She is nominated as Fellow of MSET-ICCB, Fellow of Nematological Society of India and Fellow of Society of Plant Protection Sciences. She has 120 publications and guided 8 PhD students. She has presented her work in more than 40 conferences/seminars and delivered several talks in various institutes.
