Dr. Mariya Aleksandrova is an Assoc. Prof and Departmental researcher working in the field of flexible electronics and thin film energy harvesting elements. She is a guest lecturer at the University of Lakehead, Thunderbay, Canada; HEIG-VD, University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland, Institute de Micro et Nanotechniques – Laboratory of Applied NanoSciences; Hellenic Mediterranean University, Greece. She is a member of the Union of scientists in Bulgaria; Person responsible for the educational activity at departmental level; Member of the National Coordinating Council for Nanotechnologies. She is awarded 16 times. Dr. Aleksandrova coordinates and participates in 17 research and educational projects (6 at national level and 11 international). She is Guest Editor for Energy (ELSEVIER), Editorial Advisory Board of Microelectronics International and Track chair of ELECTRONICS .
