R. Anandham graduated in B.Sc (Forestry), and M.Sc (Agricultural Microbiology) from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Tamil Nadu India 1998 and 2000 and obtained Ph.D., in Agricultural Chemistry from Chungbuk National University, Cheongju, Republic of Korea. AlsoRangasamy Anandham was post-doctoral scientist in Organic Agricultural Division, National Academy of Agricultural Science, Rural Development Administration, Suwon, Republic of Korea. During his Ph.D elucidated the sulfur oxidation pathways and Plant growth promotion abilities of sulfur oxidizing bacteria from field crops of Korea. During his post doctoral tenure, he developed various organic formulations for disease management and also he established collaboration with Dr. Soon Woo Kwon, Curator Korean Agricultural Culture Collections and discovered many novel taxa in prokaryotes. Currently he interested in exploring the rhizbial and non-rhizobial endophytes for plant growth promotion, endosymbionts for insect fitness also interested in plant disease management and molecular microbial taxonomy. He is a life member in Association of Microbiologist of India. He is review editor in Frontiers in Microbiology.
