Dr. Mohammed Al Aghbari | Associate Professor Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering | sultan Qaboos University, Sultanate of Oman. Dr. Al Aghbari is working as Associate Professor in Department of Civil Engineering, He was awarded Ph.D in Civil Engineering from University of Strathclyde, Scotland U.K in 1999, and he received his MSc. degree in Foundation Engineering from Birmingham University in U.K. 1994 . Presently Dr. Al Aghbari has about 30 years of academic and research experience. He has been involved in teaching, research and extension activities & offering all the UG and PG courses in Geotechnical Engineering. His current areas of research are improving the properties of problematic soils for civil engineering application and the second research is use industrial wests material to improve soil properties. As a part of community services, Al Aghbari conduct several training and workshops for engineers. In addition to that, he is a member of the consulting and expert team for many projects.
