1) The challenger must have their hands flat on the table not touching the Tower of Hanoi before time starts. 2) The attempt starts with the disks stacked in ascending order of size on one rod, the smallest at the top, resulting in a cone stack. 3) The aim of the game is to move the stack to another rod, again resulting in an ascending cone stack. 4) Only one disk can be moved at a time. The challenger must let go of the disk they are moving before proceeding to move the next disk. 5) No disk may be placed on top of a smaller disk at any point during the attempt. 6) If any of the disks are placed incorrectly at any point during the attempt (ie. a larger disk is placed on top of a smaller disk), the attempt will end immediately. 7) Only one hand can be used.
