It was delineated in 1952 by American geographer John H. Roscoe and was first named as 'Baker Three Glacier'.Flowing in part of Lambert Graben, It measures about 50 miles (40 km) in width, over 250 miles (400 km) in length and 2500 metres in depth. Draining 8% of the Antarctic Ice sheet to the east and south of the Prince Charles Mountains, it flows northwards to the Amery Ice shelf. Officially Incredible!!
To Break The Record (top), An iceberg's measurements should exceed that of the Lambert Glacier.
